If in 2016 there are still people considering this “weird”, or even worse, abandoning this project because of your personal decision, then this world is in much worse shape than I thought.

Don’t worry or care about what people say, do what you want, be yourself and best of lucks with your new life. And not that you need people’s approval, but goes without saying I fully support you in your decision: one has to be what one wants to be, not what one was supposed to be.

If someone leaves the project because of this, I would love to see them stop using Linux too, because Linux doesn’t need bigots. Live and let live!

    Bye, Alexander, hello Cristin 🙂

  9. Michel

    Hello Christin,

People shouldn’t consider to abandon this project just because of your “new first name” : Having done this change in your life will give you the life you expect. This means that you’ll be more happy. More happy means more energy and more energy is good for this project. 😉 lol
So should they be happy too ! 🙂

I wish you a pleasant year 2016 and the best for all the years to come.

  10. Gregorio Marco Dia

Well I think that the only valid reaction to your post is: Okay, best of luck in your life. Now let’s get back to them Open Sources 😉

  11. Dora Gerber

I’m very happy for you and wishing you all the best for 2016!
Also, many thanks for your hard work on the Linux Counter project.

  12. Dirk Landuyt
